Testimonials about our custom homes

Nothing makes us prouder than hearing from clients who love their homes and enjoyed the process of building with us. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working with wonderful clients to create beautiful, high-quality custom homes and buildings. We’re honored to share what they have to say about their experience with Glas Associates—including a video interview with a family who recently completed a design-build project with us. One word describes Glas Associates, FANTASTIC! From the very beginning of our project they were nothing but professional, informative, very upfront, never left in the dark, and very accommodating. We added an addition to our 20 year home and Charlie Glas and his people made it look like it had never been any different! Everyone is just amazed. It’s so beautiful! And with this horrible year of COVID, so many things could have gone wrong, but almost everything went without a hitch. Besides Charlie, who is great to work with and has quite an eye for style and really listens to you, a special thanks to Jeff and Craig. Jeff is the best! Another of Charlie’s great people and Craig was always only a phone call away if we had a question. Wonderful experience! We’d do it all again if we had too! Heart felt thanks to them all!

I just want to thank you for the outstanding job that you have done on the destruction and construction of my new home. I have always heard about the nightmares that can occur during the process of building a new home; however, I have not experienced any of them. I think your staff is of the utmost professional quality, and the craftsmanship is outstanding. Not only your own staff, but your subcontractors seem to be extremely proficient, very courteous and prompt. I have highly recommended you and your staff for future projects to my colleagues, and I will continue to do so.

Thanks so much for our beautiful home. I knew it would be nice, but the whole is more than the sum of its parts. The overall effect is stunning. I tried to think of just a few things that were particularly well done, but I couldn’t narrow the list down. You have treated us better than we imagined possible and we truly appreciate you.

From the first time we toured a Glas built house, we knew we wanted to have them build us a home. Their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality were truly impressive. It wasn't until we actually built with them did we discover what an amazing company they are to work with.

We built our house in 2009. Working with Charlie Glas and his team was an all-around great experience. However, it was after the build phase when we got to appreciate Glas Associates professionalism and high ethical standards even more. Whenever we had a question, or there was an issue, Charlie and his team were always there to assist us with their expert advice and active technical support. If we were ever to build a house again in the area, it would only be with one builder, namely Glas Associates!

Words cannot express our gratefulness to you and your team in making our dream home a reality. We appreciate your expertise throughout the property assessment, the initial design development, the frequent design meetings and ultimately the construction process. As we’ve listened to friends go through the building process, we became more and more appreciative of the work you do and the transparency you provided us. The emphasis on a quality finished product and your team’s integrity enabled us to easily trust you. We really couldn’t imagine working with anyone else for a project of this importance. Our house is truly the dream we had in mind. Thanks so much for your hard work and dedication in helping us through this process.

We can’t thank you enough for building us such a gorgeous, beautiful home. You went over and beyond exceeding our expectations: from the architectural design, exceptional fine detail, to the highest standard of quality. Your vision from beginning to end certainly reflects your skills and the gift you have. It’s been our experience, no question about it, that you and your team make Glas Associates the finest builder in the state. Throughout our building process, the prompt communication along with your kindness, morals, and ethics were just as outstanding as the home you built us. Your loyalty and the trust level we formed was remarkable and speaks volumes. All of your outstanding staff and team were such an important part of our positive and enjoyable building experience. What a fabulous group of people to have had the pleasure to work with. Thanks again for your dedicated, hard working effort to deliver us our gorgeous home.

We had an excellent experience working with Glas Associates during the design and build of our custom home. They listened to our input, took the time to ensure the design and details were just right, and then delivered on-time and on budget. We've been in our home for 3 years and there isn't one thing we would change! The process was not stressful at all; we'd do it again, but love our home too much to move!

Thank you and your team for creating one of the most beautiful homes we have ever been in. The entire experience was fun, exciting and totally positive. We can understand why you have so many return customers/clients. We LOVE our house!

Your commitment to building a quality home really shows in the final product. Many of our friends have commented on the attention to detail that sets a Glas home apart. We appreciated that punch list items were handled promptly and with little hassle. Most importantly, we felt we were dealing with people who were communicating with us in an honest and factual manner. It was easy to see that the money we were spending was going into our home for better materials and workmanship. We really enjoy our new home!

Betty and I wanted to drop you a note thanking you again for providing us with such beautiful homes. Between moving in, dealing with the lake issues and then the holidays, it’s hard to believe that we have been “in” for almost 6 months now. What you do is not easy – we sure couldn’t do it. There is no question in our minds that we were able to deal with one of the top builders in the state, maybe the whole country. With your vision, Charlie, we were able to build two outstanding homes on Gull Lake on a seemingly very small patch of earth. You were there with us at the township meetings helping with those so easy to get variances and then working directly with the architect to come up with the character and the look that we had dreamed of. We can’t tell you how many compliments we have had from our family and friends on what you created; even people we don’t know come up from the lake and are astounded by the homes and the setting.

Debbie and I want to say thank you so much for the wonderful work Glas Associates did with our recent remodel. Our earlier outstanding experience with you designing and building our primary house made the decision on who to work with for our beach house remodel an easy one. What we value most is how you take the time to understand how we live and want to use the house before you make recommendations for the design, layout and materials. The care that everyone on your team brings to their work, the attention to every last detail, and the quality of the work is unmatched. You’ve taken on challenging design components that were important to us and found ways to make them work beautifully. We have built and remodeled six homes in various states, and no other builder has delivered the outstanding experience that we’ve had with you and your team. Your personal commitment to doing the job right and keeping us thoroughly informed all along the way gave us peace of mind. The many compliments we receive make us proud to be customers of Glas Associates.
