Construction Superintendent

With a committed team exceeding 25 professionals, we are growing our top-tier commercial construction division. We provide general contracting, construction management, and design-build services to our clients.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning and pricing to implementation
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Develop, update, and implement project schedules
  • Meet construction budget by monitoring project expenditures, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions
  • Implement quality assurance program
  • Implement safety assurance program
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, county officials, and clients
  • Order, monitor and coordinate materials deliveries
  • Expedite and monitor material and equipment approval
  • Manage the final stages of projects, including job completion, punch list resolution, and conducting owner occupancy training.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, preferred, and/or at least 5 years of commercial construction experience.
  • Construction Background: Demonstrated ability to thoroughly understand drawings and specifications, general contract and subcontract documents, materials, means, and methods
  • Candidate must have superior communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent organizational skills- ability to plan, execute and deliver project on time and with great quality
  • Strong sense of integrity, professionalism, and client-first attitude. Candidate must be able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in dealing with sensitive matters.
  • A team player with strong leadership qualities
  • Very detail oriented with high standards of workmanship: Accuracy and problem-solving skills are critical for success in this role and continuing our tradition of top-quality projects
  • Familiarity with construction code and OSHA regulations.
  • Experience using Construction software and Microsoft office
